Back to the resignation of Andy Card and his replacement by Josh Bolten--or as some like to call it, the replacement of a former auto industry lobbyist by the fellow who ran the Office of Management and Budget while our national debt soared to $9 trillion (yes, with a "t") without feeling the need to pull the emergency brake cord:
