- That's Senator – Senator, fer chrissake! – Lindsey Graham (R [Naturally] - SC [Of Course]) producing a Zen koan to teach us that no overreach of governmental power is really overreach if the United States can be said, in any sense, no matter how literal or metaphorical, to be at war with someone or something somewhere – as has been the case every single day without interruption at least since December 8, 1941.

If only the full brunt of the national security apparatus had been brought to bear in the War on Poverty.
