Sirota gets on the Bus

The Oregon Bus Project's Rebooting Democracy event got a nice write-up from Dave Sirota:
They are a terrific group that is really reinvigorating the progressive movement here. Among those who spoke were Dan Cantor, executive director of the Working Families Party and former Congressman Les Au Coin (D-OR) - and it was a really well-attended event. There's a real grassroots progressive energy here in a state that is one of the most closely-watched swing states in the country. The Bus Project is an inspiring story about people really engaging in not just partisan campaigns, but movement politics. It is, in short, what the future of the progressive movement is all about.
Hope David got away from the breakout sessions long enough to enjoy the Douglas Firs.

And I'm long overdue in adding the Oregon Bus Project to my link list in the sidebar. Consider it done.
