Effective immediately:
1. Anyone
who uses "politically correct" as a term of opprobrium is
deeply, deeply intellectually unserious and will be ignored. Here's
a thought experiment that makes the point. (This has been routine for several years, but now we're making it official.)
2.
The three most common uses of the word "vast" are now
officially disallowed.
3. The official overused ironic quote from "Casablanca" will no longer be "I'm shocked – shocked!" It will be replaced by "I was misinformed."
