Saturday morning tunes: Leave me one thing before we part

We're finishing up our p3 three-play of music by the Tin Pan Alley songwriting team of Bert Kalmar (lyrics) and Harry Ruby (music) with “A Kiss to Build a Dream On” (1935), performed by the artist who made it his own, Satchmo.

Louis Armstrong's version of “Kiss” enjoyed a unexpected but welcome uptick in popularity in 1998, after its appearance in the post-apocalyptic roleplay video game “Fallout 2.” Go figure.
