Maureen Dowd squandered more prime op-ed real estate at the NYTimes today discussing what Hitler thought about dogs (seriously), even taking time to note that "an Airedale terrier named Rolf was considered one of the leading German intellectuals of the time."To which Bob Somerby at The Daily Howler, clearly at the end of his own tether with MoDo, responds:
An Airedale was considered a leading intellectual? In this country, a columnist who’s a visible crackpot was once given a Pulitzer prize!
