The unforgiving minute

I've been pretty worried for a couple of years, but I wasn't genuinely terrified until I saw this:

Greenspan: Recession 'close' to being over

Alan Greenspan is the Bill Kristol of macroeconomics. There was a time when the Dow could jump 200 points in either direction simply based on his choice of adverbs, but if he says the recession is 'close' to being over, anyone who doesn't work for Goldman Sachs had better start making moose jerky and stockpiling it in caves.

Minute's up.
