Happy 100th birthday to Victor Borge.
When Borge did made his last performance in Portland, about 15 years ago, there was a last minute schedule change and it ended up being a solo recital rather than a concert performance. Still wonderful, but it meant I wasn't able to see one of my favorite Borge bits--The Soprano.
Here is the Great Dane with Marilyn Mulvey--who for quite a while played the long-suffereng Margaret Dumont role to Borge's Groucho--as they slowly, painfully work their way toward the Caro Nome from Rigoletto.
