Note to those who say that Obama should move to the center to govern:Oddly enough, this morning, there aren't any conservatives out there saying that their failure was in not moving more to the center. There are no conservatives this morning fretting that they should have been more bipartisan.
No, this morning the conservatives are saying that their failure was not being conservative enough.
This is the lesson conservatives have learned from the 2008 elections: Be more extreme. Be less compromising. When pundits on the left or right say that Obama should "govern from the center," it's a sucker bet.
