It's a little hard to understand why the Wall Street Journal thought that a story headlined Palin Meets Resistance Among Clinton Backers would be news.
It's been settled for some time now that the size and importance of the "Disgruntled Hillary Supporters for McCain" faction was blown far out of proportion by a political media that thrives on ginned-up conflict and Republicans still yearning for the race they wanted to run: Someone (if necessary, McCain would do) against Hillary.
