The unforgiving minute

And to think it was only a few short months ago that Fred Thompson was the radical social right's messiah. Looks like they're learning a hard lesson about going to the primary with the candidate they have, not than the candidate they want.

From a NYTimes article on the GOP Presidential Candidate Beauty Pageant (Evening Gown Competition) held this weekend at the "Values Voters Summit" in DC:
Thompson’s tendency to look down and read his remarks provided the audience with some of the most prolonged views of the top of a bald politician’s head in recent history.

Ouch.
