The Beast has done the ugly work for us again, and compiled their list of the 50 most loathsome people in America for 2006.
My favorite picks from among the list:
#17 (but, arguably, much too nice to him)Best first sentences: #45, #30, and #9.
#16 (honestly, we all had it coming)
#10 (especially "satanic levels of arrogance")
#6 (nothing to add)
#1 (the amazing part is that he finished two notches above Bush)
Bonus points: #42, because he so richly deserves to be on the list, of course (should be much closer to the top, actually), but mainly for calling him a "sniveling sitzpinkler." (Go on--look it up. Then get a towel to clean up the milk that came out your nose.)
