Photo Op 101

A signature of the Bush "Constant Campaign" administration, at least until the wheels started coming off the wagon, was positioning Junior in the heroic photo op.

True, the wags at Reuters might have snuck one past them from time to time, but for years their media image control was the stuff of legend.

But how do you get to be the advance team for the Speaker of the House--how do you get to be the Speaker of the House--and not know that you never, ever set up a photo op like this, even in good times?

What's the matter--was the light wrong in front of the Art Theatre with "Caligula" on the marquee?

Come on, guys--this is Photo-Op 101. Of course, the CNN banner isn't their fault, as if that matters much.
