Sunday toons special: Daily Scribble, we hardly knew ye

One of the really choice political 'toon sites, The Illustrated Daily Scribble, is closing shop. Hard to argue with the reason artist Charles Pugsley Fincher gives:
Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld are telling the same lies and making the same excuses over and over, and that's creatively limiting to satire. You'd think they could consider a cartoonist's need for something new once in a while.
Kind of reminds me of observation made Tom Lehrer, one of my heroes, about satire in the age of Nobel Laureate Henry Kissinger.
