"Arrested Development" deathwatch, continued

According to the Chicago Trib, FOX is treating AD like a dead series in all respects except the one that matters: Actually killing it.

Fox announced Friday that the much-loved (but low-rated) comedy will have a two-hour season--not series--finale on Feb. 10, the night that NBC will air the opening ceremonies of the 2006 Winter Olympics.

Fox cut "Arrested Development" down to 13 episodes in its third season, but the network has not officially canceled the show. If it does, other networks are reportedly interested in bringing back the Emmy-winning comedy.
The rest of the article has a couple of plot spoilers--although, in my experience, the AD plotlines, at once both convoluted and stream-of-consciousness, are pretty resistant to that sort of thing.

Sometime between now and mid-May, FOX's decision to kill or revive AD will be announced. The time for SOBs to take action is now.
