As one commenter on the Media Matters for America site pointed out, Novak stormed out after getting needled by Carville--something he should be well used to by now--but conveniently before the topic turned to the Plame leak investigation, which was the next topic on the moderator's subject list.
Love to talk more about this, but "The Daily Show" comes on in about 5 minutes, and it should be fun to see if they got hold of this story.
Thanks to scratch & sniff for the heads up while I was at Drinking Liberally.
UPDATE 1: Novak's conniption fit was the lead story on "The Daily Show"--
UPDATE 2: Crooks & Liars doesn't have the "Daily Show" opening yet, but does have links to a lot of blogs talking about Novak's tantrum. Have fun.
UPDATE 3: CNN has suspended Novak. Interestingly enough, as they point out over at DailyKos, his employer suspended him after 25 months of not once calling him publicly to account for his role in the Plame case, and only after he sulked off the set a couple of minutes before he was about to be asked for the first time about his role in Plamegate. Coincidence? How odd that Novak has been hanging out there in plain sight, for over two years as what Poppy Bush would have called "tne most insidious of traitors," but he gets suspended for saying "bullshit" on the air.
