Hatch's spotty stance on lynching: Update

Americablog reminds us of another instance, in 2002, when the delicate, hairlike sensibilities of the Senator from Utah on the subject of lynching were offended--except that, once again, it was in defense of someone who was hardly a lynching victim, just one of his political cronies.

Meanwhile, Hatch refuses to make even the token symbolic gesture of signing on as a co-sponsor of Senate Resolution 39, which is about deploring actual lynching.
