Quiz: How private is your privacy?

What are the chances you have an FBI file? Take this quiz.

I only scored four out of six--serves me right for not being a "joiner."

And meanwhile, the Senate Intelligence Committee is preparing to renew the PATRIOT Act, this time with expanded FBI ability to conduct warantless searches.

Oregon angle: Portland's mayor, former chief of police Tom Potter, has withdrawn Portland's participation in the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force, citing the Justice Department's unwillingness to allow the Portland City Attorney to apply for security clearance to provide oversight to the Portland police officers who would be working with the JTTF. The city will review future JTTF participation on a case-by-case basis.

Be seeing you.
