Erudite biases: Begging the question (continued)

One more time: "Begging the question" doesn't mean "raising the question." It means sloppy or dishonest argument, in which the very point supposed to be under debate (the question) is assumed to be true (begged), rather than proven so.

Just to assure you that this is about more than just me grinding a personal rhetorical axe (important though that is), this site launches it to the next level.
