To get this off and running, I'm going to post some items from the archives. Patient friends will recognize some of these from rants circulated to an email list of sympathetic readers. New material will begin appearing soon. Meanwhile, enjoy this in the spirit of one of those Seinfeld "clip shows." It will start to display some of my not infrequently ground axes, including my inexplicable love of tweaking the nose of NPR.
