All over the world--and all over Oregon--comic book shops are promoting the art form by giving away free comics today.
There will be special issues and samplers of some classics and standards--from Archie's Pal Jughead to Superman, The X-Men, and (surprise!) Iron Man. But there's also some great stuff from indie and outré sources like manga, Ignatz graphic novels, and EC Comics.
