Net Neutrality: "The Daily Show" explains it all

I switched off the TV last night secure in the knowledge that this clip would be everywhere on the internet this morning. And I was right.

In the kind of segment that show why "TDS" should be declared a national treasure, Jon Stewart and "resident expert" John Hodgman discuss why Net Neutrality is a good thing and, in the process, why Alaska Senator Ted Stevens is, well, a dope.

Special bonus: Those of you who haven't been using TiVo to skip all those new "Get a Mac" commercials get to be in on a joke that the cool people with DVRs won't get.

Extra special bonus: Some of you might notice that the segment also correctly distinguishes correctly between two of Kenneth Burke's four "master tropes." That probably appeals only to an extraordinarily narrow niche, but it warms my old rhetorician's heart to know that someone out there is paying attention.

No--in fact, no one has ever seen the two of them together...until now.
